View Full Version : Snow!
You guys had any? I know quite a few bits of the UK have been graced with a really good fall of snow over the last day or two. Here in Sandbach (Cheshire) we only got a tiny amount for a few minutes, but it was better than nothing :)

Dry as a bone here...in Merseyside....little bits of frost...No show on the snow front so far..!
M...
No snow for us so far.. It's a bright crisp winter's morning.. Very cold but that's about it. I was listening to Radio 1 this morning and the DJ said to jump out of bed cause it's all snowy, I did and was so disappointed! Even text in the station to shout at him for getting me out of bed!!
Looking forward to your piccies guys. Looking like the closest to snow we'll be today!
XxX
How is Manchester today Lucy? I'm going to be up there in a few hours looking at apartments :)
Well the snow has stopped here now.
Was really heavy for 10 minutes, but nothing laid.
Tried taking some pics, but the snow wouldn't appear on the pictures.
Stupid phone!!
Its cold here, but the sky is about as blue as it gets! not a cloud in sight!
Looks like I wont be getting any snow today...
It's been a lovely bright morning in Manc Barley but the sky is starting to go a menacing shade of grey, least if it rains you'll be able to experience the real Manchester!
XxX
Really strange here.
Will rain for 15 minutes then stop, hail for 5.
Then the sun will pop up for 30 minutes
Then rinse and repeat......
I had loads of snow, made snowballs, and had a massive fight. The teachers encouraged it lol! I got quite a few hits to the head, but did give back a few groinal pelts.

Anyone else having snow at the moment?
Had a little sun earlier, then it just suddenly poured down with snow.
Doesn't seem to be laying yet, but if it keeps as strong as this its only a matter of time :D

Cool crisp bright day in good old Manc! You know the kind, far too cold but brilliantly sunny. It's great! :D
XxX
Big grey, cold looking clouds for me! And its freezing!! Weve got snow forcast. which would be nice as I havent seen any since 2005! :(
but thats more cos I moved house and swapped places with the snow ;)
Well the sun has his hat on now, and none of the snow has layed :(
Just wet streetz, atleast the trains wont be cancelled :?
rubbish... thats the most depressing thing about snow, is when it melts. or just doesnt settle in the first place! ;)
Yeah its bloody annoying, just looks like it has been raining.
I don't think it's cold..though i guess thats because when I'm in work it's round about the -24 degrees mark
More snow! We got like 4 inches, will upload a pic for ya all. Its so snowy!
Snow for us aswell!! Was freezing waiting at the station for the train! Reports are telling us to expect 6 inches!!
Nothing here in Manchester :(
I took these about 30 mins ago. It is actually snowing quite heavily but you can't tell!
It must be because the images are resized as I can see them when I zoom in on my camera...
Just by looking at the pavement you can see that it's pretty deep but only a couple of inches. I was told to expect 4 inches! Anyway, it'll melt soon so I thought I'd get some shots of it. Tonight should be interesting, with the ice and everything that goes with that.

I cordially invite you all down to hertfordshire, and my house, where there is much snow!
I really really really wish I could come and visit you and all that snow.. considering the extremely... busy few days we're having!

lol it's fine though I have lived here for 34 years
I don't live too far from you guys! I'm in the City Centre, kind of that side. We could walk past each other in the street and never know...
I always find that kind of thing a bit spooky..
Xxx
I just re-read that and it sounds a little bad!!... I don't mean walking past you guys would be spooky, just that you could be linked to the people around you and not know it. I'm going to stop now, it's the end of the week. Hopefully I can be forgiven for a little madness
XxX
Why don't you pop round for a cup of tea some time eh? I live on Eccles New Road :)
I was walking home from the post office the other day and a guy that was stood outside started following me. I kept going and eventually crossed the road to the other side, and the guy crossed at the exact same time. Eventually I got to my apartment block and used my proximity card to open the barrier and walk through. The guy walked a little way further then stopped and was looking in. I have no idea who he was or what he was doing, but I was glad there was a huge iron gate keeping him out!!

Ahh I see! I'm in an office now, just past Salford Quays Matro stop, past the lil Tesco :)
