Hey, I have recently become interested in an artist called Jon Burgerman,

He does cartoon style drawings, but also with a selection of work clearly done on a pc using software
(eg. http://www.debutart.com/media/5035/large)

I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction about what software he might use / what I would use if i were to emulate the style, and perhaps some tutorials / friendly advice if you are feeling really generous? :)

Thanks a lot :)
Dale

Inkscape is free , illustrator needs a second mortgage to buy it.
They are both easy to use.
You will get tutorials and you will probably get video tutorials on youtube.

thanks cyber, in that case i might check out inkscape at some point this weekend, hopefully pick up a few tips, if i really dont like it ill consider illustrator, but with not having a first mortgage, a second one doesnt sound all too appealing ;)
