My case is an NSK2400

So I'm looking for a 500w +/- PSU which does not draw the air from the bottom - rather from the front where the cables come out.

Must have:
2 x SATA

1 (ideally 2) x PCIE

1 x 4 pin Mobo

1 x 20+4 ATX

Any recommendations?

J

why dose it have to draw the air from the back and not the bottom? i am sure antec do some simular to that.

Because the PSU is sitting on the bottom of the case - no airflow.

The NSK2400 will take a psu with a bottom mounted fan, due to the orientation of the moutning holes the fan would be at the top.

there are vents at the side that would allow enough cooling

pc power and cooling silencer range don't have a fan at all!!! an 80mm on the back, and a small intake vent on the opposite end. Win!

Check them out

Although, i've got a coolermaster 590 with a corsair 750w PSU, and can mount it both ways round so fans draws in from small vent in bottom of case, or draws air out of case. I'm going to turn it around as suggested on here one day so it uses the small vent in bottom of case and everyone on CM website forums reckons its enough intake for it.

Unless I mount it up-side down, I can't see how there will be enough flow
underneath?

the mounting are already correct for a PSU with a "bottom" mounted fan to be top side up!

look at the one inset screw at the bottom and compare to the pictures I posted links to before!

Update:-

Just had a mate bring around his htpc and it's the same case as yours.

The psu can be mounted either way up so any psu will suit you!
