I use Net Meter, it's fantastic.

It shows you how much bandwidth you us per day, week and month, and gives projections as to how much it thinks you'll use. You can also set alarms for when you reach certain bandwidth amounts.

Like you I'm trying to work out how much bandwidth I use in a month because I'm thinking of using bethere.co.uk soon. They only give a 4GB limit, but the connection is up to 24mbps!!

Net Meter does everything that DU Meter does, plus it has a nice transparent floating graph which you can put anywhere on your screen, showing you your network activity :)

Rob, what in hell do you download? You must be averaging 200GB a month!!

Looks like Net Meter and DU Meter are basically the exact same thing to me, even down to the looks! :)

I still couldn't find that much stuff to download, and as for newsgroups, I have no idea what where or how they work :)

I use easynews, ~45 days retention also, 10Gb per month limit though, but only $9.95 a month, just over a fiver at the minute and no credit card fee ;-)
Used to be brilliant, until plusnet capped it. May switch to the one you're with Rob, is there any minimum contract or just a month like easynews?

Cheers,

Ben

[quote:08fb58b292=\"ÈL ® ö B ì Ñ\"]Ooo ouch 10GB limit....i'd use that in less then 1 day let alone a month lol.

No limit m8...I sign up, then cancle the account the next day....and your allowed to use it till the end of the billing period...all's it means is that it won't renew, and you always have acces to your account to renew it at any time.

for an extra few quid m8 go unlimited.

btw the credic card fee is just with halifax....might phone up and say wtf.[/quote:08fb58b292]

Can you send me some screenshots of the interface on the website as with easynews i can just select a par file, it find's all the rar's, put it in the zip manager as one file and download it. Is it something similar or have I got to go off searching everywhere?

Cheers,

Ben
