A while ago I overclocked by 7900 GS Go with a ROM flash.

I had to flash it back when an engineer came to check the laptop last year and now I'm playing Mass Effect 2 I could do with that extra performance again.

What I am hoping is that a member here has that ROM boot disc for flashing!
The original site no longer has it.

Many Thanks

Unfortunately it wont.
So annoying as I had about 3 copies of this disc laying about last year!

Is it different to flashing a standard vga card?

Not at all, it's getting hold of the modified ROMs which is my problem.

Oh i see, just had a look over at techpowerup and there are several for the 7900gs go but not sure if any are modified or not

Dunno if this will help but it's what I found about a GS to GTX bios mod?

Does bios flashing really boost the performance?

Yes. The card is soft limited to be a GS rather than a GTX.
You flash the 7900 GTX modded ROM to the 7900 GS and you then have a faster, more clockable card.
