oo i aint seen that but i know a couple of the guys on here are htpc buffs so they might. i have seen the browser in ie and a sat card in mc but it does make sense for a plugin to merge the 2.

Sky have signed up with Microsoft to provide access to sky player (web based) through media centre.

You have to have a sky subscription and log in with your sky details.

It works ok, but the quality doesn't come up to Iplayers standards.

I use it myself occaisionally

I just had a play with this and it looks pretty cool. I don't have sky broadband (yet) so all it would let me see is sky news.

I've got Sky Player in Media Center. We have Sky Digital with sports and movies, but I don't know my mum's Sky ID. It says you can get some things free if you're a Sky subscriber or something, but neither me nor my mum know her Sky ID.

I think I had to ask for mine, give them a call/email.

Mines works quite well even though I'm on Virgin BB (Sky telly though). The only problem is that we have sports & it says we don't.

It's ok as a free extra, wouldn't pay more for it though.

Sky Player in Media Center is WAY!! better then skys stand alone browers based pc software ..... its just like on the xbox HOWEVER! , on 360 and Media Center they dont provide the full list of on demand content like they provide using Skys Player/Website on a PC so :( so like to make the most of it you gotta used all 3 methods :(

Another thing to try is TunerFree MCE (adds itv etc into Media Center (basic just links to the sites inside Media Center, saves you browsing)

Yeah i was hoping to have had the Discovery channels on which I do with my subscription, that way I could watch American Chopper, Wheeler dealers etc etc without her moaning!

I'm a bit bad tbh, when I like a show I normally download the torrent or similar, then I use media centre master to add series info etc to my media centre.

Media browser is really good for using in media centre, media centre master collects covers & series banners etc. looks pretty nice when all set up.

Sky player is ok, I think it has some of the discovery channels but I cant remember 100%.

I use virgin for BB & Sky for the main telly, I found virgin telly a bit naff for HD proggys.

Ditto and usually the 720P version ;)

BTW I prefer Metabrowser but I also use Salami (?!?) and media centre master
