Sorry - the pictures are a bit blurry because my phone hasn't got a great camera :P

Boxes arrived, I quickly shepharded them into my room.

Got all the boxes lined up - this will be where my PC goes :D

All the bits and bobs.

The HUGE base unit (I think it's big anyway). As you can see it was securely packed - I had to cut the box away from it!

Front panel lifts off quite easily. Not sure what it shows but I took a pic.

Bit of a disaster with the monitor. Still working on that.

Me on Aria forums :D (after long setup time).

And now my desktop, laptop and netbook live in harmony :clap

Hi there

Thats look nice, let us know how you find the Trident X3 system as that was the first new Gladiator system I designed. :)

I see the bit you snapped looks to be plastic. Therefor why dont you go Halfords and get some of the super strong super glue stuff fr plastics as in theory that will fix it for you as once that stuff sets it is incredibly strong.

Nice. ;)

I think I will try that :) thanks Gibbo. Although will there really be a massive strength increase over the asda superglue I used?

Anyways, I really like this system! It's good to have a gaming PC which is actually, you know, a GAMING PC rather than a 'home system' what a lot of companies try and sell you which tbh isn't up to the job.

I was surprised by the coolermaster case it's a lot bigger than I thought but that's actually a bonus for me because there's plenty of room for upgrades.

I also got a 'courtesy call' letting me know that Aria were building my PC and when it would be shipped and so on. Was nice to hear from you guys and that was a level of service I didn't expect. Really made me feel good about my purchase. Good job :)

I would have liked the graphics card drivers to be installed as standard but as I understand you kicked some butt on that issue so that should be solved in future. In fact, whilst trying to get my PC to recognise my GPU it encouraged me to open up the box and take a peek inside so I found out more than I would have about my computer.

As I said in another thread I've been running Empire: Total War on Ultra High on my HD monitor with barely a hitch in the framerate. Loving the performance. Might do the Crysis test soon :)

Also I would benchmark the PC but I have no idea how :P

I'm with gibbo on that mate (the glue stuff).

I have a burst fuel pipe and desperately needed to patch it to get it to a mechanic for repair. That stuff along with a bit of copper pipe sealed the pipe tight which is brilliant considering they are pressurised similar to that of a hydraulic pipe. It should make mince meat put of sticking that plastic back together. Tru-weld or something I think it is.

Hi there

Is your the STD or PLUS system?

Was your CPU running at 3.0GHz or 3.1GHz?

Yep our CS guys call all customers who buy a gaming system to let them know how things are progressing.

Yep the technical guys got an *** kicking over not installing the drivers, so from now on they do that.

Yes the glues that Halfords sell is a lot more powerful than the cheap rubbish from Asda, just buy the best Halfords have for plastics/metals.

Get that man a new camera!

I thought a trident system was one that Aria built?
Or can you still have it in kit form from the compenents they choose?

Mine's the plus system :) I figured the extra hardware was worth the price jump.

My CPU is running at 3.11GHz which tbh I was again surprised at because the description said they would overclock it to a stable 3.0 but there was no mention of hitting 3.11?

Edit @M4T VW: Yeah it's the one aria built. It wasn't in kit form but I had a few monitor and graphics card problems which took a while to get going. I didn't have a wireless dongle lying around either so I had to borrow my flatmate's old one and try to find a way to install the drivers on Windows 7 without a net connection :P

Hi there

Yep, but Aria stopped building PC's.

I have re-started the Trident range, the first ones been the X3's but on Friday I added an I3 and I5 system.

These are built, overclocked and tested in house.

Ah right, I just thought it was a kit becuase you had the motherboard box, I guess they put all the manuals and CD's etc in it.

Just had a little look at the gaming systems section to see that my system has gone back up in price by £60! Now VERY happy with my purchase! :P

Yeah they put all the stuff in the motherboard box. When I first got it out I was confused as to how they'd installed the components and left the motherboard out (but then I realised when I opened it up) xD

Have a good look in halfrauds, they usually have seriously strong resin that will hold it :)

Any updates regarding the monitor? :)

Pix

Not been to Halfords yet as I had exams and I was making the trip back to Manchester today, but will go tomorrow. Unfortunately there will be no update on the monitor until Monday as a desktop is very difficult to carry on the train =P

That isn't a good enough excuse :(:p

Are the builds customisable or are they what you see is what you get?

Basically, I mean can you swap one component for another if you cover the cost of the difference?

Yeah you can if you ring 'em up. The specs just happened to be perfect for me though so I didn't need to.
