Hi, I would like to request a partial postage refund for the above order, placed on 2 Jan and delivered on 11 Jan at 3.48 pm.
Standard postage would have been £11.86 and instead I had opted to pay £35.65 for pre-9am delivery.
Therefore I am requesting a refund of the difference, £23.79.
Citylink claim to have attempted delivery on 7/1 at 8.55am and left a card which is not true as I was in the house waiting until 9.30am and no card was posted through the letterbox. I phoned them on 7/1 and delivery was rescheduled and the packages eventually arrived after the weekend.
I understand that delays are inevitable due to the recent adverse weather conditions however strictly speaking I paid £23.79 extra for a 9am service which was not fulfilled.
I telephoned Aria customer services 12/1 who advised that they would lodge a claim with Citylink but have heard nothing since.
