View Full Version : Order from 2nd of January still haven't been dispatched
I want to give myself a present for new year, a new PC, I order parts for total of £843 from aria on the 2nd of january, next day I realise I forgot to get a mouse and a wireless card, so i place another order.
3rd:
Order with mouse and wifi has been dispatched
4th:
I write a small email asking why order 1 hasn't been dispatched yet
6th:
I phone up, get told that some security check failed and the guy hangs up on me. That is after about 5 minutes of listening to elevator music on the phone and occasional propositions to buy stuff.
7-today:
2 more emails to the company, went to forums, found Andrew Gibson's email address, wrote to him and got the first response so far to my problem (is it really MY problem?), he sounded interested to help me, but after asking me for my mobile number he never phoned up or replied to any further email. That was last week around Wednesday, so a week ago or so.
PS:
...at least i got a mouse and a wifi card to play around with.

HI there
I actually just replied to your email about 2 minutes ago.
Yep hands up I got your phone number but because it went to my personal address I completely forgot about and never forwarded it to our CS guys.
I've now forwarded your email to them so they should call?
In regards to the system you ordered, was it one of the Trident X3 systems by any chance?
If so I know there was a delay on those due to motherboards never arriving due to XMAS holidays and then snow. But I do know these have all been built yesterday/today and are shipping out.
Either way our CS guys should be in touch shortly.
hey, got your email but no one called me, i take it no one will today since it's past working hours now. the system wasn't one of the pre-built ones, it's just a box of pieces.

all the parts were in stock at the time of order, at least 2 items according to the website.
I just want a refund at this point. I was hoping to get a slight modification to the order since microATX board is not what I actually wanted but rather lack of concentration while reading the description. Anyhow, I'm past that, I just want my money back. I used to love aria, got my previous 3 systems from you guys and had a dozen or so built for friends using your parts, but this just makes me think it will be the same mess if I order anything from you again. £800+ is a lot of money for me.

Your order has been marked for a refund and is just waiting on our accounts team to process the refund.
I will have a chat with the accounts manager today and get your refund processed today.
Please allow 3 to 4 days for the refund to show in your bank account.
Placed another order on good faith, because I do love you guys and your prices are extremely compelling. I do hope I get it this time though.
PS:

Hi there
You should get that Monday. :)
Cool, I got the refund too. It's a bit of a shame that it's not the "next day delivery" though, but believe you me, after waiting for over two and a half weeks to get my order somewhere at all, 4 days instead of the one is nothing. Anyhow, it is annoying that I had to spend so long waiting and not getting any feedback what-so-ever, but I am grateful to you guys that you processed my problem on a personal basis rather than just saying "not our problem, go back through the system" or "it wasn't us, talk to X" or just "sometimes it takes a *little* while..". I do appreciate that you have some parts of the system that are out of your control and I'm grateful that you realise it and provide support.
best regards,
Alex

Hi there
We are working on it, me and the owner can see the weak areas in the business and we are addressing it, unfortunetaly finding the right staff for such roles is not an overnight process.
However we are making progress, things not helped though by a massive increase in business this week but we are doing our best to cope and try to look after everyone. :)
