Hi

I'd like to make a small suggestion :)

1) On the shopping basket show aria bytes for each item and then a total at the bottom.
2) In previous orders screen show total aria bytes for the order.

what can you redeem bytes for, what sort of prizes?

Go to your account and then navigate to bytes on the left, changes every once in a while, nothing special, usually a fan or keyboard, rc helicopter or something..

Although I'm striving to become a valued forum member with this 50 posts thing, I think the best thing I could find in the Aria bytes section would be a free delivery voucher of some sort.

I've got loads of bytes but there's nothing I really need that I can redeem meaning the loyalty scheme isn't a reason I buy. However working towards the odd free delivery would be something everyone could use and I think make the loyalty scheme more of a reason to stay.

Thats a good idea, i second the motion...but now with the forum thing it may not be an issue for some of us but for other customers i think it definatley would be an insentive

Yeah I'm doing pretty well towards this months posts, but some months I'm so busy I may not get much time. However, the busier I am the more I order.

So following a quiet month when I haven't ordered much but posted a lot I would get free delivery, but if I don't post much and order loads then I'd loose it. It would be really good if there was a way to balance it out so there were rewards for loyalty and posting.

Aria Bytes is a great incentive, but i find that the products that are on offer are a bit.. (dull) :( (no offense Aria) appreciate the gesture and all.. but lets get some new devices in there.

I think thats a good idea.. The only thing is, I think you'd have to spend a lot looking at the items currently on offer. Delivery is £6.95+VAT ish, and most of the items on there are probably only worth £2 or £3 before you start getting to the point where you have to spend some serious money to claim a bigger item.. But I agree it'd definitely be worth looking at something like that! :)

The question is, whats better out of the handy mandy and the other screw driver lol. I will have about 800 points to spend soon so eyeing these up :)

My idea was to turn the bytes into a tesco style clubcard point system, with the bytes being worth their current currency (so it doesn't cost aria anything extra)

As and when your ready you can turn the "bytes" into cash in the MyAria section and use the voucher code it gives you for money off your order.

The bytes would be displayed on the top right when you log in, something like

1250 Bytes = £1.25

(or whatever the exchange was)

There could be days with double bytes, items with triple bytes on certain days - you get the idea.

Aria Bytes seem to work fine for me, I don't have a trade account, been using them for years. Only problem I've had is I redeemed some points for a usb keyboard, but it turned out to be different from the picture and was PS2 :(
