Hi Scotti

Really glad to have you onboard m8. :)

I think you will really be able to take customer service in a very good direction and with your knowledge of motherboards, bundles and general overclocking will prove to be a great addition to the Aria team.

You will be happy to know we already have a BenchTec Resident working for us in graphic design and we maybe looking to employ an LN2 cooling specialist to later in the year so come 2011 Aria can enter the Dream PC competition and well win it. :D

Were going places and very happy to have you onboard m8, were building a dream team in house and customers will see the difference with improved shopping experience and customer service. :)

Job number one is to make **** squirm as I can already beat most of their overclocked bundles on speed and price, if we can do the same on systems too imagine what fun we could have :D

Aria and dream PCs? Sounds interesting.. I still think this years crop of pc's including the jellyfish would be hard pushed to beat my beast!

Where you looking at getting an ln2 specialist from?

Hi there

Yep agreed, not hard really, could do it and for probably 1/4 of the money. :)

You would be hard pushed to be fair as that makes £2500 to play with... £3500 and I think youll get it.

Hi there

One of the Benchtec reviews/overclockers is a Manchester resident, we might look at a possible job offer soon.

So essentially our PC building team will comprise of super techie overclocking guru's who have vast knowledge of everything, could not ask for a better PC building team. :D

At the moment there is me, but I tend to spec the new Gladiator PC's not build them, then there is RawZ who is a very good AMD overclocker. ScottiB who is joining has a lot of Intel OC knowledge and AMD too, plus a couple more we have lined up. Plus we already have some very knowledgable staff as well from when Gladiator previously existed. :)

Hi there

Reckon it would be possible with well researched out components, a soldering iron, some fancy cooling. ;) :D

a few months back I put Scan's "fastest" system to shame and saved £1500 for a customer in the process so Dream PC is eaaaaaasy :p

That said, if you want to spend a shedload of cash on a system I just finished a custom £5000 system in a modded Obsidian case with a shedload of RAIDED SSD's and quad CrossfireX so I am sure I can come up with something

Hi there

All sounds good to me m8.

Both our programmers have started now too so we should be getting some improved internal software solutions and website should start looking a lot nicer as well with time. :)

The thing is with dream pcs they need dream components. That would be your gtx295s in quad sli (when they were reviewed). A pair of decent drives such as the X25M in dual 160gb formats. A pair of 1TB storage drives in raid0 too.. a decent PSU 1kw+ is going to set you back £180... Then we have cpu blocks, motherboard blocks, gpu blocks, rads, fans, tubes, pumps, resevoirs + other WC parts that would come to atleast £750... A decent case, a decent cpu, mobo and ram... blu-ray? Sound card such as the dx2... Other bits such as 7" touch screens built in to the drive bay area... Maybe even look at tec cooling or possibly a SS unit to replace the cpu and mobo loop...

it all adds up. Not to mention needing an OS! The case cant remain standard, its going to need work! Something like a splash anodise coat or powder coating. The interia should need doing too... Any CNC work or lazer cutting wont be cheap.

The list goes on! I retract my £3500 budget, Im thinking £6000 should be enough to really attempt to seal the deal.

Andy

EDIT... my system puts all of the dream PCs to shame too and it cost know where near the jellyfish £9975.

Hi there

Well custom painted cases not an issue, got two Silverstones in technical painted in TVR blue and a Vapochill XE painted Blue/Green TVR flip paint, just sitting around waiting to be played with. :D

OOOO!! Let me play! Im good with things like that :D Or atleast i like to think so..

http://forums.aria.co.uk/showthread.php?t=13454

Its going away to be annodised orange with lime green splash on it OR Its going to get powdercoated Lime green with the drive bays being coated black to match the grills... Interior needs doing black powder coat regardless...

Thats "almost" the green I want my case anodising it along with ornage. Im torn between annodising and powdercoating mind...

ill see if I can find a pic of the kind of effect i am thinking of getting.
