I have just finished building Shuttle SD37P2, Core 2 Duo E6700, 2 Gb Crucial Ram, Geoforce 7950 GT, WD 150 Raptor, Card Reader and HP Lightscribe DVD. All drivers loaded as per instructions and system works fine. My only concern is in Device Manager which has a Yellow ? under other devices, and a PCI Device needing some kind of driver. Tried pointing it at all CD's supplied and on the web but cannot find the answer, anyone any ideas please? I just like everything tidy. Thanks

Thanks

Hi there, In Device Manager there is a heading Other Devices, under this heading in yellow it says PCI DEVICE. I right clicked on this and looked at properties which state: TYPE - Other devices, MANUFACTURER - U/K, LOCATION - PCI BUS 0, device 27. function 0.
This Shuttle has 2 PCI x 8 Slots, one of which houses the PCI Express Graphics Card. Does this help?
Thanks
Allan

Hi,

There should be a Driver on the cd for your motherboard, if Microsft can not find it using the search if you stick the cd in and load it it should give you the option to install the PCI driver?

You need this my friend:

Unknown Device Identifier (http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Info/Unknown-Device-Identifier.shtml)

Best regards,
Colin.

Thanks for the suggestions. Firstly I have tried the CD which came with the motherboard. All of the other drivers, sound, chipset, etc installed no problem. System could not find a driver on the Cd and the Internet search did not help either. As regards the second option with unknown device driver, I have downloaded the file and will post a result as soon as. Many thanks
