Ive recently acquired a 40G 2.5 Laptop HDD and was looking on the bay, for 2.5 HDD MP3 Players, mostly all hailing from Hong Kong with about £15 quid postage, any suggestions as to what I should do with it (Nothing Smutty Please)

Ideally I want it to be portable, USB chargable, have a VGA port, heaphone socket, Remote and play all the usual formats MP3, AVI, MPG, WMA etc

It has to go in my pocket, connect to PC (USB) connect to HD LCD TV VGA Socket.

Any suggestions ? Make, Model etc

P.s. Obviously if you need to link, please PM me.

Cheers Mighty...

My mate replaced the hd on his Creative Zen, using a standard 2.5'' hd. Indeed, I looked into this a while ago - you can get most of the bits from various places. I reckon it shouldn't be too hard for you to find the bits using google.

Here's a guide on how to do the work (hope this doesn't break any forum rules - it's from THG)

In fact, a quick looksee has revealed quite a few sites that guide you through the process. Not too sure about pocket sized though...

Crackin Idea, nice cheap conversion if you have a Zen in the first place, although I dont unfortunately and 160 quid spent on one would defeat the object me thinks, prolly gonna opt for one of these, for around £30 quid, seems to be able to do all I want it to.
