Graphics and PSU issue... maybe ?

Hey everyone, first time poster here.

I seem to be having an issue with my system shutting down, and after looking through various forums, and web sites, I came to the conclusion that it could be my PSU that is at fault.

My system is :
CPU:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600 Retail AM2

Motherboard:
Abit NF-M2 nView nF430 Socket AM2

Graphics:
Connect 3D Radeon X1950 Crossfire 512Mb

Sound:
Soundblaster X-FI Elite Pro

Mem:
2x 1Gb 533MHz DDR2

PSU:
500w

Now I was wondering is the restarting (while trying to play games) due to my PSU struggling with my set up?
If so, what PSU would everyone recommend me buying?
lol... And if it isn't my PSU, anyone got any ideas what could be up.

Yeah the PSU I am using is the one that came with the Aria Gamer DarkStar case I bought.

I was thinking about going for the
OCZ 700W SLI Ready GameXStream PSU, hopfully that should cover me.

Sounds exactly the problem I had a few weeks ago, PC would shut down anywhere from 5 mins to 30, without being at full load or under strain.

Tested a different PSU in it, system was then functioning properly, So I ordered a nice 600w Jobby just to make sure it would cope with the kit and 3 HDD's...which worked fine.

maybe a test from another persons PSU will throw some light on it.

haha, thats great... im just making sure I get it overlly covered :P

The hassle i've had upgrading this time.
First motherboard doesn't like CD-Drive, lucky I had two. Then never researched enough about the graphics card and had to buy additional cables to power it.... THEN a whole new PSU. Oh the joys, I should really keep more upto date with new peripherals :P

Anyway, thanks for the help, much quicker than waiting on a email replay from Aria, which I sent them at 10 this morning :(
