Embarrassingly, I can totally see this being a guilty pleasure. If they balance how serious it is and isn't it could be a right laugh, and I was cynical at first.

What certificate is it going to be? Just that the appeal of the original was the overall cheesiness.
You know how cars would roll about a dozen times and the bad guys would get out dazed and stunned but otherwise unhurt, the dodgy improvised weapons and vehicles they made.

I even remember them breaking out of prison in an episode by fixing hairdryers to the legs of chairs with bin bags taped above them in a sort of mini hot air balloon arrangement.:rofl:

Somehow I don't see any hint of this in the trailer, it looks deadly serious and no fun.

Ok so its pretty much agreed that there aint no BA like the real BA bling and all so the film will be pants but have to agree with some about how pathetic some of the story lines were in the old series too. All that gaffer tape and zinc sheets for armour lucky they never had real opponants to face up to but it was just entertainment and kept the kiddies quiet while I fixed their broken toys.;)

Honestly I prefer him without the bling as he's not trying to be the original BA I think that was more of a mr T thing than BA though.
