to my knowledge NO ONE is able to run a 1ghz core stable enough for vantage on a 260....???

maybe with ''LN2'' (at a push)

No, because a card at 1100/1200 still only has a bandwidth of 153.6GB/s.

maybe with ''LN2'' (at a push)

Quick browse of hwbot shows 7 ln2 cooled 260's able to run vantage at over 1000mhz, and several others that can't, so for an air cooled card at a few degrees below 0 to be able to run half of the bench at 1003, does seem unlikely.

Vantage at those clocks? Pfff! That wuld cause a nuclear meltdown! Im going to be running on SS at some point at around -80c to see if I can run vanate and to my knowledge speeds of around 1200/2500/3000 are possible on a 260 with ln2.

ATi cards lack texture units and ROPs...a problem they finally caught up to the GT200 series with in the 5xxx series. Only now to be overtaken again with the GF1xx :lol:

That was about as stable as an hormonal teenage girl!

No benchies.. Failed after a minute or so on vantage but hey.. it didnt artifact for that time. Just hit a BSOD.

I would work on it but its gone now.. :cry
