View Full Version : Blue Screen? Crashing? Help please
Well, i'm trying to re-boot or whatever my computor but i'm really unsure on how to do as this one is custom made and when i put the motherboard disc in i get various options non of which appeal to me and i have no idea how to use BIOs. Well this is much needed as in the past 10mins my computor has crashed 5 times and had a blue screen appear with some information telling me to un-install and software but the last time i installed someting was mid november. I really need some help here guys
Motherboard CD?!
Blue screen usually indicates some soft or hardware failure.
Dunno why put the first thing i do is start the computer in safe mode and run chkdsk /f incase its a hard drive or boot partition problem.
If u can read the blue screen message just type the error in google, usually tells you how to fix it or whats broken
Well its a CD i got with the pc. *is not very good on the technical side of PC's*
Well i tried to do a virus scan and it crashed everytime i did one.
Is there an quick and easy way i can just wipe everything for this pc?

1) Yer it dispalys some information and then it has a 'timer' at the bottem which says dumping physical memory [i think] and that screen stays up for 120 secs maybe and then it goes onto the black screen wich appears at startup like you desciribed in 3) and says insert boot disc but if i just switch the pc off it goes back to normal. And i'll try write the code down next time.
2)Well it sometimes does but its just a long beeping noise *i think it could just be over heating maybe*
3)I think so i've never really viewed it

[quote:328e8d17d6=\"PrivatePyle@Work\"]totally wiping everything is a bit extreme - you will lose anything and everything you saved on it. music, documents, saved games, programs, everything. are you really sure!?[/quote:328e8d17d6]
Y
I've been planning this for days now, so don't worry everything i want is safely stored on my other pc =]
I'm really sure now, its crashed about 8 times today and i still don't have the foggiest why, i managed to do a virus scan and it found 5 spyware thingys and only deleted 1 so i really need to do this >.<
