When I use cpu-z,it says that my RAM is PC2-4300 (266mhz).

Now I'm interested in going from 1gig to 2gig but after browsing Aria,***********,Novatech etc all I can find is PC2-4200!!!

Can anyone tell me if this is the same?? I always thought cpu-z was very reliable but I can't see the above shops not having what it states..

Anyone help me?

Also does anyone think I'll see a performance difference by going from 1 to 2 gig?? Is it worth the money???

STFW

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DDR2_SDRAM#Modules

4.267 as it is peak it is safer to quote 4200, but some people quote 4300, which is to be honest miss leading

BTW daz2712, please don't flame people who are asking questions that you consider to be too simple.
Ee are all here to help each other.
