View Full Version : No iPods?
I couldn't help but notice you don't stock any types of iPod at all? With them being so popular, surely it'd be a good idea to stoock them? I know I was looking for one last week but you guys didn't sell them :(
I hate my Ipod
well the ipod is great, the software is ghastly, far from user friendly.

[quote:759c735250=\"PrivatePyle@Work\"]which software? you mean the iPod user interface?[/quote:759c735250]
The I-tunes software.
Does my nut in, id rather use the ipod like a usb pen but it doesnt show the tunes up if you do that.

you can put the songs on there, but it will only recognise and play the songs put on it through iTunes. There is a linux program to sync itunes libraries to ipods in linux.

RockBox = Linux ( well any Unix like OS )
but can be complied on Windows using cygwin or coLinux
NB no need to complie it form source just use a precompiled binary package
PS I have never used it myself as I don't have an MP3 player ( well my Phone, but that dosn't count )
We did have iPods for a short time but remarkably they didn't sell too well! Probably something to do with a huge range of MP3s and 4s that have more or less the same spec at half the price!!
XxX

I'm looking for an iPod and iTrip now that I'll be commuting a lot further.
Disappointed to see Aria don't do them.
I'd consider an alternative product if it's as good, but Aria don't seem to sell any of the alternatives either...
Tom.
