Not for everything in a fairly modern system, no. Here's an outline idea for a couple of new systems.

Intel

Processor

Core 2 Duo E6300

Motherboard

Gigabyte GA-965P-DS4

Memory

1x1GB DDR2-533 or 667

Graphics

1. Radeon X1650XT
2. GeForce 7600GT

£420

AMD

Processor

Athlon X2 3800

Motherboard

Abit KN9-S

Memory

1x1GB DDR2-667 or 800

Graphics

1. Radeon X1650XT
2. GeForce 7600GT

£320

Something to fit closer to your budget and upgradable as you choose:

Processor

Sempron 3000 AM2 http://www.aria.co.uk/ProductInfoComm.asp?ID=22841

Motherboard

Abit KN9-S AM2 http://www.aria.co.uk/ProductInfoComm.asp?ID=23044

Memory

1x512MB DDR-667 http://www.aria.co.uk/ProductInfoComm.asp?ID=23540

Graphics

1. Radeon X1650XT
2. GeForce 7600GT http://www.aria.co.uk/ProductInfoComm.asp?ID=22692

£215

With the last system for £215 you get a good single core processor which is pretty good for current gaming, a good spec quality motherboard with nice upgradability, some mid range RAM that isn't too slow but doesn't carry a massive price tag and a lovely lower-mid range graphics card that will keep you going for a while at good graphical settings.

If you're not into gaming, then you can substitute this for whatever you like that is cheaper.

Thanks for all of the info and suggestions guys!!!! This forum rocks!!!

I use my pc for work doing basic word processing and powerpoints, browsing the internet, basic functions such as photoshop, viewing videos and playing football manager 2007!!!!

So the only game i play is football manager 2007 so would the last suggestion meet my requirements?

Cheers again for all my help!

Football manager has no graphics requirements, its a managing game, not like FIFA. My bro has a sempy that runs FM07 perfectly so no real requirements for that.
