Iam building up a comp for my dad with spare parts i got , every thing was working fine installed windows fine than as i booted up i got a lot of long beebs and the monitor was saying no signal check your pc and cable i turn off take out the graphic card make sure it is ok put back in but same thing , card is new i tryed in other comp and it works fine just not in the other comp anyone got any ideas what is going wrong for it to work fine for a while than just stop

this isnt trying to catch you out, but how did you manage to install windows in the first place?

Do you get anything on the screen at all? Do you se the POST screen then it fails upon loading windows or is the screen blank from the instant of power on.

It worked fine to start with , i installed windows np etc seating is fine all in right , all i did after it was working was tidy up the wires and put the side of the case on thinking i was done
the beebs i get are long and dont seem to stop
i dont get any post screen all i see on the screen is the monitor self help type msg saying no signal check your pc and cable

In that case i would kinda agree with the others in that it sounds like you might have disturbed something when tidying the cables up and its now not making a decent connection, check the power connections and stuff like that it might not necessarily be gfx related check the motherboard power connections too.
