Design a new Christmas Forum Banner and win a prize!!!

HI there


Right to get into the full swing of Christmas, were gonna get a Christmas theme going, I've already done the smilies last night, the guys in the office are working on a theme.

But we need a new Forum header banner, thats this banner:-

What we want is something that is along a Christmas theme but it must include the ARIA Logo, for the logo either use the one from the above banner or here is a couple you can feel free to use and yes you can resize them as you wish or even edit the logo as you see fit, maybe with some holly leaves etc.

The winning design shall be choosen by myself and Aria or if we can't decide then it will be put to a forum vote for you all to vote on your favourite.

Also remember the edges of any design should slowly blend in white so it fits in with the white background of the forum without looking harsh. So be a good idea to have snow in any design. ;)

Not sure about the font, but you can find the colours by using a colour dropper tool in your favorite artyfarty program :)

The font is a mixture of Dax Light and Dax Bold. :)

For colours just use dropper tool to pick up the colouring.

Nah, I'd resize on there too. I always resize to 800x600 or something as some forums break otherwise. If I want large versions then I just upload to my file server site (as I did above, click for full). :)

It looks good m8, all I would say the colours seem a bit weak if that makes sense...

I know what you mean. I wanted to do something a little more subtle but not too over the top and chaotic like my last one using colours that blended together well. Some colours have been toned down a bit so that it all merged well together. Previously some places looked like it was stuck on, so had to drop the opacity down a tad and use some gradient mapping.
