Looking evil as ever mate, been a while since I last saw it in the flesh down at Powerstation when you were upgrading the SC boost. Done any more to it since then?

Loving the plate btw - is it new, don't recall you having that before?

Hi m8

Nope since fitting the smaller pulley I've done nothing to create extra power. I've put the bigger wheels back on and also got back to an adjustable panhard bar in the rear as the watts linkage kept snapping the bolt which was annoying and un-safe.

Thanks for joining up m8. :)

I was thinking exactly the same thing as tystar, up until the picture inside the car park where I had to admit that I would be rather 'partial' to one of those.

Ever since I saw Barricade in Transformers I wanted one :p

I'm Currently crying at my desk at how much you pay :cry:cry:cry

I pay almost 4 X that on my Alfa and thats Standard with no mods :cry:cry

Although the 6 month ban for totting and 0 NCB would have something to do with that :cop:

Looks lovely. I watched the top gear test on these only the other day and a lower BHP but proper suspension setup went round the track nearly 3 seconds quicker then the SC one with 500 BHP!

You need a go in a proper handling car before you say its good. Im talking engine in the rear;)

Gibbo's has a lot of engine work and a lot of suspension work, believe me, it sticks to the road VERY well and goes extremely well too, long gearing means you hit high speeds in low gears. :D

I have to say, it's one of the better handling cars I've been in, plus I love FR layout in cars. I've been in an Exige S, which whilst great, just isn't quite the same sort of thing. :)

HI there

My come came from the factory with the same suspension setup as the lower BHP one you mention with a proper suspension setup that wa 3s quicker around the track.

The reason the Shelby GT500 was slow around Top Gear track was because they weigh 1850kg weight distribution is 58% on the front nose and 42% in the rear.

Mine is not a Shelby, but a Saleen, it shares in standard form the same suspension setup as the Roush which was the car which went 3s around the Top Gear test track.

However I found that uprated suspension setup not good enough and as such mine now has fully adjustable suspension all round. The Roush which featured on top gear only had uprated springs/shocks, uprated front and rear rollbar and larger brakes, thats it. Oh and it had 415BHP.

Mine has adjustable shocks, uprated springs, adjustable front roll-bar, even thicker rear rollbar, adjustable lower control arms, adjustable upper control arm, adjustable panhard bar, uprated panhard brace, G-Trac brace, Bumpsteer kit, X5 balljoint kit. Brembo Brake kit and more importantly sticky summer tyres. Then plus the fact I went a bit crazy on the power side and have pushed her upto 570BHP.

So to put it in a nutshell mine weighs a bit less than the Roush, has further uprated suspension and even more power than the Shelby had. In other words it does everything quite well. :D

In regards to driving car with engine in the rear, well I've driven rear engined, mid engine, front engine along with FWD, AWD and RWD. ;)

The Mustang not the best handling car I've driven or owned but with all the mods its up there with some of the good ones. :)

Hi there

The ratchets teeth inside the handbrake worn down and so the lever no longer clicked up. Replacement from US arrived Friday, fitted that over weekend.

The bonnet, well the leading edges would get pain bubbling due to water getting under the paint and reacting with the Aluminium causing paint to bubble/flick off at leading edges.

So found a new bonnet without the problem, had it treated and full re-spray.

Yeah that was the old reg, good memory you have.
Yep power at flywheel was 576BHP at last dyno, suspension is now adjustable and did have a watts linkage in for a while but UK roads kept snapping the bolt in it due to our roads been so fully of holes.

But yep still got her, though she has not been out to play in this weather, using a 306 HDI for moment and am probably gonna move the Mustang on in next month or so.

Well its sunny here, but odd shows, I really wanted to wax them but with these showers that could be very un-wise, just settle for a wash me thinks and wax tomorrow as looks like a sunny day all day tomorrow.

I am gonna have a car cleaning weekend and visit the gym later today, tomorrow and Monday. I've been slacking and its time to get back in shape so I can hit the beach in confidence this Summer. :D
