cod mw2 spoilers

another thread about this bleeding game yea :D

i will be talking about plot points and other things that might spoil your game so if you aint got there yet be warned.

spent some time playing the sp now and as much as it is fun the story leaves alot to be desired tbh, my gf was horrified as i mowed down hoards of joe public in the airport, these are unarmed normal every day you and me's if you like. now im not being funny but as a catalist to start a world war its a bit weak.

this satalite they got their hands on, how? why? where? if its explained i missed it.

sheppard, first off i cant believe this **** set fire to me alive the turn coat mother****er and other than i little bit about him losing 30k troops in the nuke on the last game it doenst really explain why he ends up turning on his own men or what he really intends to do once he has killed us all off.

now is it jsut me or did nearly everybody die at the end of cod4? so how the **** did price end up in a russion prision? i liked that mission but cant help but think they just robbed most of it from "the rock" level made by the modding comunity, as for the rock how many times did i think oo another bit robbed from that film, and this film and that film. what was great about the last mw was it felt fresh, not just a bunch of bits from the film and game world all knitted together to make 4 hours of gameplay.

the skidoo/jeep/boat sections are just utter console crap, dont even want to say what i really thought about these as it will just be lots of **** **** ***** **** and ****ing ****.

you know the one bit i did sit there and smile about was the credits, with their tongue in cheek poke at how it is the end of the infantry and how armed uav will be the future of modern warfare.


the name of the main campagn p****d me off to, they phoned in the game with a buch of rip off sections knowing it will outsell everything due to the console game buying public being sucked in by all the hype and then they call it for the record the **** taking ****ers. dont think i will be paying for another IW game again you know, saying that i cant see them doing anything worth it for the pc again after this so.....
so have you done it? and what did you think?

The MP/SP maps are a slight modification from the first COD4 - not all, but some we're based around the same. I completed the game in 3hours and 24minutes (yes, timed), then tryed the next skill up which took me 3hours 35minutes.

Single player was too short in my opinion, some fun bits added which made it nice - everyone sort of dies in you're campaign which is a bit of a kill off (especially soap being stabbed).

Now, the multiplayer seemed ok from the start, enjoyed the maps (only a few played on) and yeah so far so good. Although later to find out the console was removed, people we're already hacking and the whole iw.net lobby service. Out of 10 joins, i probably played about 1 of those games, most of the time i got either;

'Server is full' (Yet i was the one who clicked 'Find Game' with 2 people already in my group).

'Connection to host lost' (Yet i wasnt even connected).

'Awaiting Connection'

And some other errors regarding the host. Some of the servers seemed nice and smooth, apart from that the game is OK - although they will need to patch the console back so we can use it and allow us on dedicated servers!

The fact people are already cheating and getting into Dedicated servers via console/DMZ forwarding is a **** take. Level 70's vs Level 10's. Not a great way to make the match even, even if the game is mixed with 70's and 10's in one group.

I'll be keeping the game, not playing it until the patch opens the console and allows dedicated servers! (YAY for pubs).

played it on the 360 before, its alot better than cod4 was (from what i recall) was only a 1v1 :( blame my m8s buddy list, but he werent happy about me 3 nilling him on my fisrt go :D

stabbed him 1st one, then shot him with his g18 over a distance then he tried to stab me so i blatted him in the face with a fal :p

still stand by my comments above but its deffinatly an improvement for the consoles.
