Hi,
here is my spec
Pentium 4 3.0GHZ socket 775
Asrock 75Dual-VSTA motherboard bios version 2.20
1GB OCZ DDR400 PC3200 (2x512MB)

Right i brought two identical OCZ memory modules which should be running in dual channal mode, but they arn't.
when the computer starts it says it's single channal.

what can i do to change this to dual channel mode.

Cheers

2.5 Installation of Memory Modules (DIMM)
775Dual-VSTA motherboard provides two 184-pin DDR (Double Data Rate)
DIMM slots and two 240-pin DDRII DIMM slots, and supports Dual Channel Memory
Technology. For dual channel configuration, you always need to install identical
(the same brand, speed, size and chip-type) DDR / DDRII DIMM pair in the
slots of the same color. In other words, you have to install identical DDRII DIMM
pair in Dual Channel A (DDRII_1 and DDRII_2; Yellow slots; see p.10 No.6) or
identical DDR DIMM pair in Dual Channel B (DDR1 and DDR2; Blue slots; see p.10 No.7),
so that Dual Channel Memory Technology can be activated.

Doh

I overlooked that

Yeah, is a dual mem board isn't it

hmm, in that case it might be a bios setting

Nope , just scimmed through and it just seem to be Auto detected

When you get into the bios does it look anything like Page 30?

[quote:7fc55d2182=\"PrivatePyle@Work\"]your ram will be ddr2 mate as you have an intel ssytem, and intel run on ddr2 :)[/quote:7fc55d2182]
