By the laws of BODMAS, the multiplication comes before the addition, therefore the equation is rearranged as follows:

(2*2)+2

Then you simply expand the brackets:

(2*2)+2 = 4+2

= 6

lol, I remember I had one of those and my Pencil Case at Primary School
it was a hard plastic box in the shape of a calculator,
and as far as I remember it had a built in Pencil Sharpner, with a little pull out tray,
which was great for making 'sneezing powder' aka 'blind them for a few seconds powder'
