Recently my PC had started having problems and turning off. After discounting the PSU and the Video card my friend noticed that the CPU temp was reaching 85. We took off the fan, gave it a quick clean, put some more thermal paste, and it seems ok. at 52 C. However it raised to 68 when running facebook. I am a little worried that when I start using more graphically intensive games, my chip will overheat again. I am using the Fan that came with the PC, but also have an additional side face. Any ideas on a better cooler

Has the case got good airflow? (or even any fans at all?)
Do you mean how do you post pictures?

It has a pretty good flow.
On my info, it gives me the option to put on my system info, ie board, Ram, Chip etc.
I updated it all last night but it has not appeared on my post
The system information on only appears in your profile if you click on your name. You will have to list system specs on the post itself.
If you know what socket CPU you have we can suggest a new CPU / fan heatsink .

Cheers and yes I am using stock cooler.
Have a winpower 800 PSU and 2 DVD R drives too
q66 is a toasty cpu, not netburst toasty but warm for c2d.
with heatsinks you tend to get what you pay for, freezer 7 pro is a very good choice if you want it cheap and cheerfull tho :D
I have a used freezer 7 that needs a home...
