Good call PP. I am also a massive fan of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, I have the extended version which is around 4 hours a film! Trilogy + sofa + duvet = Amazing lazy day! :D ...
... I do have an absolute favourite film, one which I can almost guarantee will appear in most girlies Top 5.
It's Dirty Dancing!!
I LOVE it.

I'll do a larger post to explain when I have some time ;)
The Warriors (1979)
The Warriors are mistakenly accused of killing a big time gang leader named Cyrus. Soon they have every gang in the city out to get revenge. The Warriors must make their way from one end of New York to their turf on the other side of the city.
Simple plot, but i have always loved this film since my dad let me watch it when i was around 8 years old.
The Baseball Furies are easily the best Gang on there, scared the crap outta me.

If you haven't seen it then i defienlty recommend it.

Guy on the far right?
Only one? That's completely unfair :P
I suppose at the moment I would say This is Spinal Tap, but it's likely to change almost daily
And thanks for reminding me of The Warriors, Belso, it's one of those kind of films that I know I've got on video somewhere but haven't seen for years :)
A few, hard to choose between. It's out of the following:
Battle Royale
Akira
Azumi

Wild Things, Momento, The Butterfly Effect, Blade Runner, 5th Element, Serenity, Shawshank Redemption
No order, and I guess I have some more

Well if i have to choose then i guess it has to be the original Star Wars. I can quite happily watch that again and again its a classic on so many levels.
Other good films are, imho, Fight club, Leon, as well as a few others that have already been listed Green Mile, The Butterfly Effect, Blade Runner, 5th Element ALL quality films.
Pulp fiction, the lost boys, The Doors, lock stock and two smoking barrels, snatch
Arrrghhh I can't decide
New ones just keep popping into my head
A Knights tale
Hackers ( yeah its so bad its good, RISC is going to change computing you know,
Also had Angelina Jolie before she was famous )
Hackers 2 aka Operation take down, a Little more serious than hackers
Oh and Swordfish, I love a film with a plot twist or two
:x Can't decide

Sheeesh, there are so many really good movie's that i could watch time and again. But choosing just ONE? It changes constantly though doesn't it? You know like one day you can watch a serious thought provoking movie i.e Green Mile, the next an easy animation flick i.e. Wallace & Grommit and then the next you want blood and gore like Man on Fire etc.
However, my shortlist at the moment is between \"One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest\" and \"Shawshank Redemption\". Which one tho?
Shawshank wins it by a whisker. Well at the moment anyhow!
