xfx 9500 gt low profile?

Hi,

Im looking at getting this card im still unsure that the memory specs though.

Can you confirm that indeed the memory runs at 1600mhz because on other websites the memory on this card is reported at 800mhz with the same model code???

Has anyone actually bought this card off this website and its runs at 1600mhz?

It's said to be 1600MHz as the memory is double data rate. 1600mhz is the effective speed, 800mhz is the actual speed, don't worry about it.

I hope you don't intend to play games with settings above Medium, that card is low end.

I have a SFFPC and only has a 280w PSU thats why I have to go for that card I looked at the 9600 gt but it needs a 400w psu

Same problem dude the cards need 400-450w PSU has anyone on here actually got an ati card like a 4650 running on a low PSU?

Get a 8400GS it'll run on a 210W PSU :D Nice card if your playing at low res :)

Try a 8600GT if your wanting to splash out...make sure it doesn't require external power connectors as I know the 8600GTS does! :s

Pretty good card, could play COD2 on high settings (getting 45fps) and 12in smoke, not bad for a low profile.
