It was Coiler who started this talk about bandwidth...the ADMIMIM himself loves bandwidth...

You may need a sink...


some icecubes....


and a towel...



fill sink with cold water, add icecubes.




Proceed to splash face with water and repeat ITS ALL ABOUT THE CORE ITS ALL ABOUT THE CORE.


Dry face and come back to pc, proceed to scroll down :lol::lol::lol:

The 6600 has more bandwidth. Which = better FPS!

Actually.. It seems that my Go7300 in my laptop appears to be placed 2nd, of those 5.. :lol: :lol:

Shed try and find that chart I did once which had the big red arrow down the side which said "its all about the bandwidth" and highlighted how bad your 8400 was :lol:

For the price you would expect it to!

£220+ for a GTX285/280 and £150 for a HD4890.

That's a lot of money to pay for 14.5 extra bandwidths.

Price vs Performance has been the ATI game for a while now. All out performance no matter the cost is nVidia's domain no doubt.

Lol, I'm not getting into a fanboi flame war. Just saying that both manufacturers have dodgy cards. If you are unlucky then you wind up with one.

I remember my 8800GTS had major driver problems with VPU recovery being a constant problem. Was fixed with the next drivers. Didn't stop me buying an 8800GTX then a GTX260, I changed to an ATI4890 purely on price/performance.

Only in nVidia favouring games or at 2560 x 1600.

As said though, the 4890 is a notch lower, so it's expected.

Hardly Jealous, there are only two games i can't play at full everything, and thats crysis and GTA IV, plus my card isnt OC'd
