for this system...

AMD Phenom II X3 720 Black Edition
ASUS M4A79 Deluxe MOBO
4GB OCZ 1066Mhz RAM
ATI HD 4870 1GB

The graphics card requires 600W and two 6pin connectors.
I was looking at the following....

http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Power+Supplies/500w+%2B/OCZ+600W+ModXStream+PRO+Modular+Power+Supply+PSU+? productId=33612

http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Power+Supplies/500w+%2B/800W+Arianet+Black+HE+Gaming+PSU+?productId=35821

http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Power+Supplies/500w+%2B/Corsair+650W+TX+Series+PSU+?productId=29099

But none of them have the two 6pin power connectors that my graphics card needs.

I know people say you should spend big and on quality for the PSU, but im stuck at the £60 £70 range, no higher.

Thanks in advance.

Both the OCZ and Corsair have two 6 pin PCI-e connectors. The OCZ has a 6 and an 8 (the extra two come off) and the Corsair has two 8 pins (again, the extra 2 come off)

I'd stay away from the Aria as it's not a branded PSU and won't be safe. Personally I'd go for the OCZ as it's modular.

The Corsair or OCZ. OCZ is the better choice as it is modular. Just use the cables that you need, and you don't to connect the rest.

On the topic of power supplies...my power supply should be able to handle SLi...therefore obviously xfire.

I swear I've only got a 6/8pin and a 6pin connector...that kinda suggests that my power supply can't have anymore...whats going on, do I need touse molex cables with adapters? The sockets that I plug my GPU power cables into are red...all the other sockets are black, does this signify anything? They give out more power??

I have a 600W OCZ ModXStream.

I've got the PC Power & cooling Silencer 750watt in Red. I'd definately say the Red one will work better. Its powered my last two rigs with barely a whisper heard from it.
