Prevention & Containment of Swine Flu is now ceasing in the UK, this is due to cases doubling everyday.

60 million vaccines purchased, but not due to start arriving until August.

Estimated 100,000 cases by August 1.

Not trying to scare anyone as the only people to have died so far all fall into the "at risk" or "other health complications" catergorys.

My girlfriends school (she's a teacher not a pupil) has 2 confirmed cases but is not closing.

imo this is just natural selection, a culling of the herd which, well come on ffs we need.

Except that the most at risk group are in fact the young healthy working people with active immune systems.
It's this almost over-active immune system which allows the virus deep into your lungs for you to get pneumonia and drown in your own fluids.

Nowhere. It was a briefing session, admittedly this was a couple of months ago when they didn't know the virus was as mild as it is. They were saying that's what will happen if it turns out to be nasty.

If it mutates then it's the working population that will be in trouble.
