I just took my nephew for a walk round the old mill. Was nice by the water. Cool with a light breeze.

Honestly though. We wouldn't be British if we weren't complaining about the weather.

My job sucks.

I had to go to Newmarket racecourse at 7.30am to do interviews for doctors and was forced to eat a bacon baguette with a cup of coffee on the grandstand in the sun, then have biscuits, followed by a delicious Newmarket sausage and mash lunch and then a second helping of korma and rice, and 2 slices of chocolate cheesecake - all on the grandstand ovelooking fantastic views of the rowley mile racecourse.
Then there was afternoon tea with more cheesecake and victoria sponge out on the balcony in the glorious sunshine.
Forced to go home at about 3pm to lounge around at home.

:p

Damn it was humid yesterday. Was lovely eating out by the river though. Did get a bit cold at about midnight by the river, but when I went home (only about 10 minutes walk away) it was so much different! Humid and confortably warm. If i hadn't been down by the river earlier, I'd probably be compaining that it was hot and humid!

Maybe they should start a new MET Office service, and simply call it "HindSight".. None of this forecasting malarky..
