HI guys
Not sure what to do... I would like to get one of the above, which would be best VISTA (http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?p=3180853#) or a new CPU? I tried Windows 7 (no I don't want to use it due to it only being an evaluation edition and just want the official disc and liscense) but my games don't run any faster so I'm drawn to a new CPU to get better performance. My XP is 32bit showing 2.5GB ram (http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?p=3180853#) I know that VISTA now won't make my games run faster but will work better with my 22" ASUS monitor (http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?p=3180853#) (XP just stretched) and has to be better than XP for the future and DX10. The CPU I know will perform much better than my current one and will let me get 8GB PC8500 RAM (up from 4GB PC6400) but I'm thinking that more ram won't make my games run much better than a new CPU. It's driving me mad can you guys help?
Cheers...
