Would have been all over this if it would work plugged into my BT Homehub.
Why do these posts not appear in the "What's New" section? Probably missed a load of these because that's the way I normally browse the forums!
Oh maybe they do

I'd prefer a bigger drive.
But that is a very good price for one of these.

why couldn't this of been last week when one of my externals broke, needed a emergency replacement and ended up paying £100 for a USB3.0 2TB external drive
though I suppose I now have no need for the other external and my 500GB F3 so will sell them soon

2tb for £100 is better than 500gb for £35 if you think about it

yeah but I'm meant to be saving my money so i can get a 4GB 670/680 would much rather of spent £35 now and get the kepler card sooner rather than spend £100 and have to wait longer if I had had the option :)
Should save me putting everything onto memory sticks. :P

Awesome, would have been gutted if I missed out on this!
Deets sent.
Turned up yesterday. Great bit of kit. Cheers RawZ and Steve!
Hmmm, got this today and my computer won't recognise it in my 2 USB 3.0 ports, in any USB 2.0 port it's fine, anyone got any ideas? The blue LED is on and the HDD spins up so it has power btw.

Awesome, that worked, cheers :).
Also for poeple wanting to know speeds over USB 3.0, just copied across (writing to the Seagate drive) a 41GB file in 8 mins and 39 seconds meaning an average of 79MB/s I believe :).

Is that slow or quick haha. Havent tested mine yet so ill try and bench it for comparison later tonight
i get around 75mb/s write via usb3 to my thumb drive just to add to the data set :)
windows has been funny about the speeds it says tho, flying at the start and then slowing up as it gets to the end of the file :s

Yea I have the same problem, although on my USB 2 stick, when I put an 8 gig file on it, it sates speed of 105mb/s for a min and then the bar fills looking like it's completed but then I have to wait another 10 mins or so :P.
Just an update cos I said I would, mine seems to be nicely poodling along at around 95MB/s so yeah nice and quick. Tanks again for the awsomeness aria :D
