Has anyone got any idea which memory stick is better out of the following?:

OCZ 1GB DDR2-800 OCZ2P800LP1G (4-4-4-15)

Corsair 1GB DDR2-800 CM2X1024-6400 (5-5-5-12)

I would have thought the OCZ is the better stick but I don't know whether the last timing digit has a significant affect on the performance or not compared with the Corsair.

Memory timings irritate me. I thought CL4 was better? Is the last digit the factor you are looking at?

It's not the Dominator, it's just XMS.

Lower is better, tut tut PP you should know better  the OCZ would be the memory of choice from those 2.

Ive always liked Corsair, and not ever tried OCZ, but given the choice of the two, I would have to go for the OCZ as well..

I've just looked back at the site with the memory and now some new stock has come in from more of OCZ's range. They look fantastic.

I've found a new one that is DDR2-800 4-4-4-12 and it's £6 cheaper 8). I may have to purchase the last two! I serisously hope I have funding for this. There's a 2GB kit of the same thing for £230! It's times like these that I always have bad luck. :x
