If you want quiet and don't have a buget then Noctua's NH-C12P Top-Downcooler is great.
I am torn between the Noctua's and the TRUE ultra, which one of the Noctua's range is the best one?

How bout one of these :D

The Noctua NF-U12P and the NH-C12P are both fantastic coolers and would definitely recommend them. My other choice would go to the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme with a Noctua 1200rpm fan. ALl of them will perform similarly so all it comes down to is price :)
^^ The above w/c kit isn't worth the £80 in my opinion.
I got a TRUE 120 and a noctua 1300rpm fan - keeps my overclocked 720BE very cool indeed. Temps below are with the fan pulled back to 1000rpm, it loses another couple of deg load at full whack.
Stock 2.8gHz = idle 20c, load 35c
OC to 3.6 = idle 20c, load 40c
It's one of the best coolers around, generally considered (when combined with a noctua fan) better than noctua's own HSF combinations.
shame the base of them aren't flat, in most cases
Is the true bolted on? And also, just lap it!

Lapping is effort :thumbsdn:
trues need high airflow to get good temps due to the fin density, the noctuas are better with low rpm fans but i would still say the ifx-14 is the one to get but only if you can fit it in your case and over your ram.
it cools better than a true with any fan due to you being about to fit 3 fans on the heatsink and it having a second heatsink which goes on the underside of your mobo which you can cable tie more fans to if you want.
i think mine was maybe the best £40 i have spent on my pc in terms of the performance it has unlocked and the noise it removed, it cools better with no fan than my f7p did on low speed and with a 800rpm fan its better than the f7p on full tilt.
only downside is the size as its MASSIVE and i could not have it so the fan pointed to the back of my case because i have a noctua nc-06 (or is it u6, cant recall atm) on my nb and that is big too., i have a pic on here i think and i will add a link if i can find it.
